Don't let your strive for work ruin what you are working so hard for

Don't let your strive for work ruin what you are working so hard for.

I have learned from a young age that a hard, relentless work ethic is essential in life. I am grateful for the lesson, though I have come to learn that. Working hard is a state that can only be maintained temporarily and must be balanced with softness and nurturing towards yourself.

But we sometimes get so caught up in the work that we forget to live and enjoy the things we are working so hard for. Work is important, though it is not everything. Taking it slow, prioritizing rest and breaks is part of productive and effective work. Over doing it could be counterproductive and damaging to your health. It's important to maintain that balance and not lose sight of the bigger picture.
